Held in conjunction with the inaugural Empire State Film Festival, which runs Friday, Oct. 23rd – Sunday, October 25th at Cinemapolis. Filmmaker and ESFF Director Gregory Lamberson will guide attendees through the steps of producing an independent feature film. Includes a Q&A session. Gregory Lamberson has been an independent filmmaker for four decades. He is a member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA) and International Thriller Writers (ITW). Gregory has produced and directed 10 feature films of his own, most of which he wrote, and has worked in different capacities on many other films produced in Buffalo. He is the author of 15 books, including 12 professionally published novels and the filmmaking book Cheap Scares: Low Budget Horror Filmmakers Share Their Secrets. He makes his living primarily as a screenwriter and has run the international film festival Amazing Fantasy Fest for 16 years. He taught screenwriting at University at Buffalo and is the executive director of the nonprofit organization Cinema Arts Collaborative, Inc. His website is www.gregorylambersonfilm.com.
